Kimitoön is an archipelago municipality located in the region of Southwest Finland. It is the second-largest island in Finland after Åland and can be accessed by car.
The municipality of Kimitoön consists of approximately 3,000 islands, of which around 20 are inhabited year-round. The population of Kimitoön is 6,456, and it is bilingual with Finnish and Swedish as the official languages.
